Founder Story
Aspen End K9 started with a love for the dogs first — their energy, loyalty, and need for food that could keep up with the way they live. What began as caring for the pack turned into something bigger: a brand shaped by real dogs, real routines, and a belief that K9s deserve products made with purpose.
You can almost always find me outside with my dogs — offroading, hiking, camping, and rock climbing. Whatever high-elevation adventure I’m chasing, they’re right there beside me. And if they’re going to power every summit with me, they deserve the fuel to match.
I simply wanted to feed my dogs better. The more I paid attention to ingredient labels, the more questions I had. That led me to my certification in canine nutrition, and it completely changed how I approached feeding my own pack.
I started preparing simple, whole-food meals in my kitchen. I saw the difference in my own pack first: healthy coats, strong digestion, steady energy. Friends and family began asking for the same, and watching their dogs thrive confirmed what I believed all along — when you feed dogs real food, their bodies respond.
Aspen End K9 was born from education, integrity, and a commitment to feeding dogs the way nature intended — built at elevation and crafted for the miles ahead.

Ryka came into my life when I was still in high school — a Craigslist meet-up that turned into my best friend for life.
She grew up alongside me, just me and Ryka chasing miles together.
She summited 14ers with me, camped under open skies in the mountains and deserts, and became my copilot through every chapter of life. Forever the love of my life.
